Sony has decided they want to refuse refunds for PlayStation users on Cyberpunk 2077 even after CDPR promised them.
As Cyberpunk 2077 problems on the console persist, Sony is telling gamers it will not refund their purchases on PlayStation platforms.
According to users on Resetera and TwitterSony refuses to issue refunds to users who downloaded and streamed the game to PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 thanks to the company’s long-standing (and infamously strict) refund policy.
Instead of, user reports and screenshots of discussions with sales representatives seem to suggest that Sony is simply asking consumers to wait for CD Projekt Red to roll out its PS4 and Xbox One patches in early 2021. This flies in the face of CDPR’s advice, where the company has advised gamers to return to where they are. purchased Cyberpunk 2077 to request a refund (either at retail stores for physical copies, or at Sony and Microsoft for digital purchases).
