Joe Rogan slammed the ‘forced compliance’ of transgender athletes filtering into sports in recent years, warning the issue is ‘f****** up women’s sports’.
The comedian and commentator took aim at the hot button issue during the most recent taping of The Joe Rogan Podcast, where he was joined by rapper Ice Cube.
‘You’re forced to comply with this,’ he said, adding that people should move to ban trans athletes from competing ‘if you care at all about biological women’.
His remarks came after champion swimmer Kylee Alons revealed to DailyMail.com she was forced to cower in a closet to avoid changing in the same room as controversial trans star Lia Thomas.
Rogan has increasingly taken issue with transgender athletes competing in women’s sports, bringing the topic up numerous times as his listers have grown to over 11 million people per episode.
And in his latest show, he again sounded off on the controversy, initially bringing up the disastrous Bud Light advertising campaign with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
The podcaster and Ice Cube, real name O’Shea Jackson, mocked the marketing ploy following news it has lost Bud Light a shocking $20 billion in market cap.
When the conversation shifted to sports, Rogan compared the unpopular campaign with the ‘forced compliance’ of transgender athletes competing against women.
‘Some organizations are pushing back against that,’ he added.
‘And some people are pushing back against the organizations that are pushing back against it, which to me is insane. Like if you care at all about biological women, you should be against that.’
In response, Ice Cube posed the hypothetical situation of LeBron James moving to the women’s league if he chose to simply identify as a female.
‘They wouldn’t be able to stop it if he just decided to say publicly, ‘I identify as a woman,” Rogan countered.
‘What are they gonna do? They can’t do anything, and then that would be the end.
