The 2025 Los Angeles fires have been devastating to the city. But, in addition to people of all classes and backgrounds losing their homes, one of the strangest side effects of the fires has been the seemingly endless supply of opinions from people about the fires.
While entire suburbs have burned to the ground and people tragically lost their lives, the internet has been churning out non-stop spin from all sides of the political spectrum. But, Bill Burr has had about enough of it.Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday night, Burr made his opinions on everyone else’s opinions perfectly clear.
“I think everybody did a great job…unlike the internet.”
Hilariously, Burr pointed out that random people arrogantly sharing their views as to how the fires should or shouldn’t have been handled has been beyond tedious.
“Oh my God, all of these fire experts,” Burr told Kimmel sarcastically. “Like some f–king idiot on the internet knows how to manage a fire in L.A., sitting in his underwear.”
Burr also pointed out that he did have to evacuate “like most people” but also said that “I feel lucky.”
When it came to people suggesting that helicopters be used to transport more water from the ocean to fight the fires, Burr pointed out that the high winds made anything like that dangerous. When Kimmel noted that Burr does, in fact, know a thing or two about helicopters, Burr was still deferential to other experts.
“I don’t no f–king anything. I know about the one that I fly. Other than that, I don’t know anything about it.”
