The new Disney Plus series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has been expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe in some very interesting ways. Now its latest cameo, an appearance from real-world celebrity Megan Thee Stallion, has fans all across the internet talking. While her inclusion is already a shocking one – it’s made even more shocking that twerking was included. Yes, fans get a good look at superhero She-Hulk as she indulges in some twerking alongside Megan Thee Stallion.
As one can imagine, the sequence has plenty of diverse reactions.
While there are fans who enjoyed the absurdity of the moment and found themselves laughing, others were not so pleased. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been making a lot of changes – and those changes aren’t going over too well with some fans.
It’s worth noting that this moment was included as a gag for the episode’s post-credits scene. Such moments are usually reserved for gags if not exciting teases for what’s next to come. So, with that in mind, it isn’t exactly out-of-place. Especially when you consider that the She-Hulk character is often remembered for her sense of humor and wacky tendencies to break the fourth-wall. Whether or not that has translated well into the Disney Plus series, however, is up for the individual viewer to decide for themselves.
Tatiana Maslany leads the cast of She-Hulk as Jennifer Walters aka the titular character. She’ll be joined by Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner aka Hulk. Tim Roth also reprises his role as Emil Blonsky aka the Abomination from 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and the aforementioned Jameela Jamil also star.
